The Poetry Booth will be an attractive, inviting, mobile, and free public facility for creating poems with the help or guidance of experienced poets and educators. The booth itself will provide workspace (tables and chairs), supplies (paper, pencils, pens, markers, glue, scissors), and poetic inspiration in the form of writing prompts and activities. The goal of this public art project is to invite the residents of Santa Barbara to participate in a collaborative, innovative, and collective literary community.
